Bill Forbes is the Senior Advisor for Child Protection and Children in Crisis for World Vision International. He provides strategic leadership, training and research for improving programs to protect the world's most vulnerable children and families.
The focus of this role includes programming for street children and children affected by armed conflict and other crises. His work targets child trafficking, sexual exploitation of children, and geneder- based violence.
Previously, Bill worked for World Vision in Cambodia for 8 years. He studied International Development at Fuller Theological Seminary School of World Mission and at Cornell University. Bill is currently based in Federal Way, WA, where he enjoys life with his wife Heather, two daughters, one son and their Cambodian dog.
